Hi, this is Haku. He is a 13 month old tri-colour border collie who is in search of a forever home! He currently lives in England but his new home didn’t work out so well for him and his new owner can no longer cope with his obsessive tendencies. He is a lovely dog who adores cuddles and playing with his ball and he’s a dog you can’t help but love. Please take time to hear his story.

Hi, it’s Haku here…you may remember I was looking for a forever home 3 months ago and I know my page has been a little quiet since then. Well, I’ve been out having fun and socialising and playing with my new friends so sorry for not being in touch recently. 

However, very sadly things just haven’t worked out here , and my home cannot keep me, so I am now back on here to ask all of you lovely people to help me find my true forever home. 

The home I have stayed in say I have made lots of progress with people and dogs so that is a good thing for anyone who may be interested in homing me…but I do need to tell you that I am still not for the faint, or purely good, hearted. 

I need a very experienced home, with someone who really, truly understands young collies like me. There’s not many like me tbh, and that is why it is so hard for me to find a forever home, but I know there must be someone out there with the right experience and home circumstances who can offer me what I need. 

I need lots of exercise, lots of patience, lots of training (hopefully it will include my beloved ball). I also need someone who, importantly, really understand collies who when they want something…they want it NOW!!! I must admit, I don’t have a lot of patience, get very frustrated and can get angry and this is what I really need to work on. A regular home would definitely not be suitable for me for this reason. 

Ideally I would be in a home with no other dogs, or maybe one other dog who I get along with very well. I don’t want to keep moving homes, so I must find the right one this time. PLEASE share my story again…I’m hope you will all be able to help me??
